Weather Forecast April 21 - 26

Summary (as of 4/23)

The atmosphere is forecasted to be ripe for the potential to produce severe weather beginning Saturday afternoon. The silver lining is that there will be a strong CAP (inhibitor of severe weather) in the low levels of the atmosphere Saturday. Although, all other "severe weather ingredients" will to be in place. If the CAP is ‘broken’ then we will most likely see some severe storms. CAP looks to be weakening just before sunset on Saturday. This means severe storms could pop up around 7:30pm-8:00pm Saturday evening. I would prepare and expect lightning in the area Saturday evening. We will be sending you alerts of any inclement weather activity.

Time frame for the possible development of these storms will be in the 4PM - 9PM time frame. We'll keep you posted. Do not hesitate to reach out to us with any questions: 469.546.5082
